Well, we're getting settled in Mechanicsville and I'm ready to start losing some baby weight for good. This past March (2 months after giving birth to Eliana), I began doing the couch to 5K running program. I went through the first week (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and ended up with patellar tendonitis in both knees.
Now, 6 months later and a move across the country, I'm trying the couch to 5K again. I began this morning with day 1 of week 1. The couch to 5K program comes from coolrunnings.com and there is a podcast to go along on iTunes. The podcast is incredibly helpful, as the creator (a man in Oregon) tells when to do intervals of running or intervals of walking.
It was a beautiful morning as I headed out for my run. I loved the tall evergreens in Washington State, but this morning reminded me how much I love seeing more expanse of sky. The first run went well considering how little I've exercised these past 3 months. However, I do remember that the 2nd and 3rd days were more difficult.
My goal going forward is to do the couch to 5K program 3 times a week and Windsor pilates videos 3 times a week. I will attempt to blog weekly about my running accomplishements and, hopefully, weightloss victories. :-)

Yay for you, Laurie!! I have just started exercising again as well...after going up two pants sizes, the reality has hit hard that I am not 22 anymore. :) I am trying to behave, not always succeeding, but am committed to exercising even if I have been bad. (haha, like tonight I pretty much had french fries and cheesecake for dinner) (but I did ride the bike!) I can't wait to see how you progress! I think about you often as you are transitioning. :)
